poem of the day March 24
And sometimes
those beats
were just down
the street
jiving in
some kind
of song
They were
twisting the roots
off some fine
looking spruce
as the sun
rose over the morn
Their beautiful
dance was
only by chance
Spontaneous
as spontaneous
can be
All was gone
in a flash
run out of gas
Until Alice
appeared with her tea

poem of the day March 19
The reason
why peace
love & happiness
are so elusive
So rare to achieve
is their acceptance
of everybody's everything
making it nearly impossible to
match the popularity of
selfish ignorant grievance
which thrives by nonacceptance
Where division is cultivated daily
to express the overwhelming emotions
required to fuel the anger needed for
war hate & unhappiness

poem of the day March 12
I am here to report
the outer space station
has successfully docked
up to the giant black hole thing store
All the well dressed brave astronauts
have disembarked
armed with space age shopping bags
and have entered the hole of extreme temptation
As a nation we wish them the best of luck
knowing the risks they face of being
trapped like most others before them
into a one way journey
full of things found in
the black hole store of desire

poem of the day March 11
War is good
for predatory business
for extreme market swings
Where the art of trading lives
for big globs of blood money
has become for the most powerful
a well dressed obsesion
fueled by using greasy grimy gopher guts
of inside information
full of souls of mutilated monkey meat
All while greedily wearing
the insincere fake white hat of disrespectful
disingenuous self serving compassion

a poem of the day March 7
Long old abandoned
but still with a view
humbled on the road
with an invisible hue
Big trees lined up
very side by side
in the evening air
of the countryside
The old place is now
a new restaurant
that has somehow
landed in the hills
of Charlemont
It made me think of
other fallen places passed
that find some way
to be reborn and recast
