All the boats were
in the harbor waiting
for the anticipation of a storm
Some had been
in storms before
out on the sea
waves higher then trees
Others had never been
outside the safety of the marina
All were huddled around the dock
tied to old fears
The first splash of water
sent shivers down their masts
but it was only the change of tide
That storm is always part of all lives
