Eating the last
of summer fruit
in the warm safe light
of a beautiful day
Late peaches
Raspberries
Blueberries
Apples abound
All around
I am reminded
by the cornucopia
of abundant life
free for all beings
as a walk with thoughts
chained to the horrors of man
