poem of the day April 16

The whiteness
of an April snow
differs greatly from
the stark solitude of
a cold winter storm
Life now is a springing
blooming open force
As tides of green poke
the white with watching eyes
And somewhere on
this magic carpet ride
I see the robin hunting worms
hopping across a wonder world
