poem of the day June 17

How still we find
an uphill climb
that reaches
toward the sun
How each step
becomes a stool
a stepping stone
a map of life
within the dawn of calm
This settled fog
on valley floor
teaches all we
need to know
of windless mornings
without a breeze
but still so full of flow
