poem of the day June 29

Wild water
Tame water
Rain or river
we all need
the water hole
I watched the storm
dance around
all kinds of situations
Heavy downpours
on the parched earth
filled the dried desert
with a fleeting pool
full of wetness
There the long line
of all thirsties
came to get
their share of
the seemingly
endless ocean
I could not tell
from where
I was drinking
if my cup was
half full or half empty
