poem of the day October 26 

To get away

with everything

tempts even 

a holy man

A string of pearls

circles the world

with riches from

from every land

These treasures belong

to everyone

but greed has

made them prized

Where these  

dangling gems

tempt certain men

who chase them 

till they die
