poem of the day May 30 

Everybody is

lined up

on either side

of the runway

full of anticipation 

The electric

flying carpet

is set to debut

and will replace

the magic carpet

of flying dreams 

but like all

things modern

it will now cost money 

to glide through 

the skies of imagination
