poem of the day March 31

The frost
was
barely
able
to
cover
the way
Yet
there
was
still
enough
to make
the
journey
difficult
If one
was not
careful

poem of the day March 30

When
the
world
runs
of out
celebrities
It will
be time
to
follow
some
other
disease
Cause
the waste
of mind
on what
the red
carpet
wears
is the
recipe
for
exquisite
despair

poem of the day March 29

I gathered
Seeds
from
every
Tree
to help
me in
eternity
Some
for
wood
Some
for
fire
Some
for
Fruit
to
feed
the
choir

poem of the day March 28

Maybe life
is part
of the
dream
All those
scenes
you see
are the
means
To achieve
success
in the
front
of the
desk
But
you have
to be
at rest
with
the
team
And
if you
feel
like
Chasing
a pearl
You
must
find
a way
to stay
still
Then
you'll
know how
to
move
inside
the
groove
to help
you
catch
what is
real

poem of the day March 27

When
the
weary
waning
Winter
waits
another
day
Too
tired
to
wander
on
its
winding
walking
way
Where
is the
windy
welcome
push
from
a warm
well
wished
spring
day
to
whisper
what
is
needed
to
wash
winter’s
walls
away?

poem of the day March 26

Nothing
like
a good
night
sleep
to get
one
in
the
mood
for
dreaming
Nothing
like
a good
cup
of
coffee
To get
one
in
the
mood
for
remembering
the
dreams

poem of the day March 25

There’s
that
door
again
The
same
one
from
before
The one
you
have
been
facing
your
Whole
life
The
one
that
only
opens
and
closes
While
you
change
What will
you do
this
time?
Will
you
be
opened
or
closed

poem of the day March 24

Doubting Thomas
turned
on the
radio
Enjoy the
new cynic
area
two miles
ahead
Can't be
he
thought
The announcer
must have meant
A scenic area
Thomas
pulled
off the
highway
to
investigate
He was very
surprised to
see a
parking lot
full of
pessimists
complaining
there
was no
view
only
a bunch
of other
Cynics
milling
about

Master says
"To be
honest
to
yourself
is
the
hardest
task
of all"

poem of the day March 22

Devolutionist
Theory
emerged
when
Life
reached
its evolutionary
pinnacle
The
backward
slide
into
devolution
happened
so slowly
that
some
thought
it was
just the
natural
progression
of evolution
but when
the lights
went out
and the
screen
went
dead
then it
was clear
that
we had
given
all logical
thought
to machines
that were now
lost in
dark rust
Forcing us
to once
again
stare
at each
other's
god

poem of the day March 21

Start of
Spring
is
Fifty
Fifty
dark
to
light
Half
day
Half
night
Two
opposites
in flight
The energies
move
like a
kite
On the
fulcrum
of an
earth
Unable
to hold
the illusive
center
balance
For even
a day
from the
always
flapping
wings
of
angle
angels
within
time
speed
tangles

poem of the day March 20

First day
of spring
And greeted
by snow
So much
for the lion
that just
wouldn’t
let go
Where is
the lamb
when you
need a
warm hand
Must be
in LA
playing
sheep
with the
band

poem of the day March 19

Death was nothing
like the heaven
Tom Morrow
imagined
when he followed
the white light
out the tunnel
to his waiting loved ones
But there
was his father
Full blown
in the same
argument
they had since
Tom was a kid
Just when they
were about
to come to blows
his mother appeared as she
did for all those years
to try and comfort him
but his heart broke
when he spotted
Little Lovely Linda
the love of his life
kissing the same creep
his best friend  Dick Danger
whom she had left him for
Bringing back
all the  years
of unsettled depression
which did not completely end
with her death or
Maid Mary marrying him
Tom was still looking
when his father came back
to argue
followed by
His mother
And then by
Linda and Dick
Round and round
in unending celestial time they all went
in their heaven hall
that might be a little hell
even when Maid Mary came
to join them

poem of the day March 18

Behind
every
Eye
is a
point
of
View
to
separate
Me
from
You
but
in
the
case
We
see
eye
to
eye
the
very
Same
thing
Then
it's
time
to
buy
the
Ring

poem of the day March 17

A stream
of
dreams
Came
out
of the
dark
night
In long
spiral
sagas
that
lived
and
died
in
Just
a  few
blinks
of an
eye

poem of the day March 16

The old
train
stopped
everywhere
No
town
was too
small
to hear
the whistle
No passenger
to late
to leave
behind
It wasn't
until
the
world
sped up
time
That arriving
became
more
important
then
the
journey
off
getting
there

The sun
reflecting
off the
old
tired
New England
snow
felt
warm
and
inviting
Especially
after
a long
winter
of cold
dreams
that
felt
like
ice
streams

poem of the day March 14

The dead
tree
in the
Canyon
Was
carved
into its
Totem
to remind
all hikers
of
the power
of
Wind
Sun
Rain
When
they
Mix
with the
elixir
of
time

poem of the day March 13

If we
in time
give
up the
written
word
Then
we
have
no
way
of telling
The
difference
between
No
to
Know
and
Know
To
No
which
could
lead
to
another
dark
age

poem of the day March 12

I looked
out
over
the still
frozen
meadow
pond
on a
warm
late
winter
day
wondering
what
the fish
are
doing
under
all
that
ice

poem of the day March 11

The plane
disappeared
without
a trace
Everybody
thought
it was
an act
of
Terror
Pilot
error
or
Extreme
turbulence
But
I have
heard
for
certain
from
my
Alien
friends
that
it was
abducted
by
Rogue
Rovers
on the
planet
Mars
that
needed
spare
parts
for
their
broken
cars

poem of the day  March 10

The big
toe
was so
opposed
to
opposability
that
it could
not
grasp
anything
Therefore
it
had no
hand
in its
own
evolution
and
ended
up
getting
the boot
To this
day
it has
felt
like
a heel
for
shooting
itself
in the
foot

poem of the day March 9

To lose
a hour
of
sleep
In an
attempt
to
control
Time
solely
for our
earthly
pleasure
Means
we
have
come
a long
Way
from
understanding
the primordial
rhythm
Of
Sunrise
and
Sunset

poem of the day March 8

The travelers
were
full
of fear
As they
approached
the untamed
mountain
that
stood
blocking
their
way
There
were
no roads
Not even
a path
Only thick
wild
jungle
full of
constant
danger
that had
to be
hacked
inch by
inch
to get to
the top
After
a long
slow
journey
dodging
peaks
of
death
They
finally
reached
the summit
Where
they were
surprised
to see a
six lane
super
highway
running
straight
down the
other side
of the
mountain
Now their
only
danger
was their
own
speed
of life
