Flowers were once again
blooming over polluted fields
They looked so surreal
poking out of used metal carcasses
amidst the rust of man
How something so beautiful
could emerge from the waste
of unwanted civilization
makes me think that the nature
of spontaneous beauty
is a bit more complicated
then the narrow vision
of a once ideal landscape
long abandoned but
still full of dead industrial tide
