were battling it out
on the battlefield of souls
Hate was dressed in white
to confuse the fearful
Love tried to open the door
but used too forceful a kindness
and was held out by the fear
carried by white dressed bullies
who used one way bibles
to beat back the advance of love
It all looked like insanity
until the girls with flowers appeared
dressed in hope armed with
the five letter word of maybe
