poem of the day January 17

Gentle snow
settles the dawn
as I look out
onto my mother Earth
I am a small speck of dust
able to watch
able to absorb her fullness
Happy that she loves me
but not knowing
what I give her in return
for I am part of nothing man
bearing no gifts

from the taker clan
