poem of the day February 24


What used to be
has been put in the boat
Launched in the past by
the fruit of misery
Peaches and apples
hung long ago on rusty hooks
baited the familiar traps
that hid in the waves
It was only the horse 
without swimming visors 
that was able to see the sea
