There is nothing

more wasteful

than war

A waste

of blood

A waste

of treasure

A waste

of resources

A gigantic 

waste of  time

War is

the biggest

polluter of

the planet

The biggest threat 

to the environment

The biggest threat

to good health

But mostly

The biggest threat

to both inner and outer peace 

Something no one

says they ever want

yet like human moths

we are trapped

by the titillation 

will of power

imposible to move away

from what kills us
