poem of the day November 15 

With fists fights

in the senate

Shouting matches

in the house

Anger flies

amidst the lies

inside the 

people's house

This violence

of emotions

born by 

breeded hate

is the image

of  America 

as it grapples

with its fate

Our fragile

experiment 

of democracy 

now threatened

by evil men

chasing power

that corrupts 

most everything

in the end
