poem of the day December 6

The merging

went beyond simply

revolving around

another lost sun

The light of that universe

decorated the long night

with strings of pearls

seen from mountains

light years away

The shortened day

help extend the life

of the Milky Way 

almost to the dawn

where the merge was

faithfully watched by me 

my dogs and 3 house plantsoe
