Master was

was talking

about light

Asking

an old 

perplexing 

question 

about seeing 

to the gathered

students who

were stumbling in

the moonless

cloudy dark 

impossible

to penetrate 

black night

"Does one see more

in the darkness

with eyes closed

or with eyes opened?"
