poem of the day December 20 

The biggest

grandest

strangest

widest

most vibrant  rainbow

I have ever seen

dropped out of the sky

and was touching down 

Illuminating the ground

as I drove

down the road

going east

At one point

the rainbow 

even shimmered

with extra sparkles

like a  magic star 

right into someone's home

where I hope it left a pot of gold
