poem of the day January 11 

Everyone knew

the yellow 

brick road 

was only

make believe

fools good

but that did 

not stop

the glittering pander 

coming non-stop

from the mouth

of the conman

spread by his army

of greedy henchmen 

who were able

to convince

the frightened masses

they had to believe

all fantastical  fairy tales

coming from the lips of Oz
