poem of the day November 2

The shoes were worn
in places impossible to change
Blocks happened
one stride at a time
Before you knew it
past patterns had stepped
back into the future
The old wise cobbler examined
the familiar shoes
"There is nothing I can do
but build you the same pair
Only you can change how
you walk in them"
