poem of the day August 21

The Sun and Moon
kissed at noon
leaving the Earth
dark and alone
without enough light
to find a home
The surfs all stared
in awe and fear
lined up in a row
to witness the austere
With a naked eye
not questioning the Why
the world turned black
the daylight sky
