poem of the day August 28

The crickets are back
and I'm happy for that
They're chirping away
on the highway of hats
They've been away for a long time
but now they own the August sunshine
From now until the early frost
they'll fiddle in the summer moss
in good luck trucks drinking wine
enjoying life while the living is fine
