Waiting while waiting
everyone does it
Some better than others
depending on the waiting
Waiting for a repair man
Waiting for an invitation
Waiting for a lover
Waiting for a change
Waiting for a sign
Waiting for the sky to fall
But mostly waiting while waiting
Makes me think of limbo
Lives suspended in waiting
Lost hours of life drifting
in nothing but lost time
I hope no one has been waiting for this poem
