Driving through the land
of living solitude
Giant Saguaros
ancient souls
rise on the slopes
of natural pyramids
Standing stoic and tall
in the sandy wind
of an unforgiving desert
Guarding the sunrise
Guarding the sunset
One supergiant Saguaro
with human like branches
spreads its arms to embrace
this impossible stillness
