poem of the day January 17

What good is
a melting pot
if nothing ever melts
and everything
stays the same?
The heat just
making everything
More hot
More bothered
More entrenched
in the toxic broth of
us and them
Points of view
in a sided soup
swimming
in the fear
of finding solutions
