Where have all

the crickets gone

I don't hear 

them anymore

I miss their summer 

songs & calls

The hungry birds 

miss their meals

Have the crickets 

all been deported

to other lands

or have they self

migrated to Canada

before the great expected fall

Where have all the crickets gone?
