Trees ladeb

wet heavy snow

Shimmering

wind mists

weave a canopy 

over the road

Entwined trees

shelter the journey

making the path 

more intimate 

Each thought

Each step

into the tunnel

begins to funnel 

an understanding

of winter as a wonderland
