poem of the day January 7 

Quiet as

a mouse

but how quiet

is a mouse

in a house?

How silent 

can sound be?

The patter

of small feet

make it difficult 

to sleep

The constant

rustle heard

within my ear

is very loud

sort of like

a gangsta 

rodent rap

that does not stop

until a trap goes SNAP!
