poem of the day June 13

The trees march
without moving
even one step
They travel
each and every
single season
Dressed up
for summer parties
Stripped naked
for long winter sleeps
I am watching them now
delighted to be showering in
the late spring rain
preening their leaves
getting ready for the sun
Happy to be everywhere
