poem of the day June 3 

As soon as mankind

had taken its 

very first steps

into a very long tunnel

and saw a far away dim light

The philosophers 

were already philosophising

The talking heads

were already talking

The professors 

were already pontificating

Yet no one traveling 

in any direction

on any road

at any time

Not even the most 

expert experts 

could tell of

the origin of  light

Making it hard

to know if 

the luster of life 

was really

A Dark Light
