poem of the day May 15 

"What do you share

with the river 

other than the water?"

The rain asked

as it effortlessly

fell into

the waiting sea

A few minutes later

a giant tsunami 

rushed up to heaven

with a big knowing

ocean wide smile

that reached the rain

"Isn't the water enough

for the river of you and me?"
