poem of the day May 7 

Everyone of compassion

knew it was a travesty

soon to become a tragedy

when the greed meter

got mixed with

the grain meter

near the long boat

where they were

reloaded camels

already filled

with too much plenty

As the last camel

boarded the long boat

the boat tipped over

and sank deep 

into the abyss 

Exactly into

the same

hole of greed

where Midas had

drowned all

those years ago
