poem of the day July 12 

I read that

military conflict 

in the near

future is

going to be

fought by 

AI robots

What exactly

would that do

except kill all

the robots?

Then I read

it again 

and AHH! 

I get it

The light bulb

has gone off

Of course

it is brillant

War might be

the only way 

to get rid

of artificial intelligence 

by having them

fight each other

to the death

and save us humans

so we can get

back to 

the real wars

of killing 

each other

rather than fighting

what would be

losing battles against

the much smarter 

evolving machines
