How independent

can independence be

in a world without democracy

How much of this independence

is dependant on the independence

of the American revolution 

and its Constitution

Where all those freedoms

were so ingrained 

over centuries 

by the blood and sweat

of common men

Millions of hearts & minds

full of justice & liberty 

formed by a revolution

where all are equal

in the land of the free

No more tyrants 

No more kings

No more worship

of powerful things

Until 6 dark souls

in big black robes

decided for all

The president king

is above the law
