poem of the day April 16

The daffodils
once again
are among us
in gardens that
stretch from
house to house
all the way
from Bambi's to Andy's
Golden blooms abound
lining the highway of humanity
with brusts of well being
able to unlock the good
in each and every soul
I keep thinking
if the whole world
embraced this daffodil brigade
there would be no need
for war parades
