poem of the day August 8

I saw a beautiful Rose
blooming on an Iris stalk
but my doctor told me
I was crazy that all I had
was a virus of course
He said it was impossible
for a Rose to be far from
the thorns in which it lives
Yet there it was on an Iris shank
big, red  and full of eager open sensual lips
I have to say real or not

it  would be a good flower to sell in a flower shop
